The Petsafe Wireless Containment System:
The PetSafe Wireless Containment System PIF-300 is a completely portable, invisible dog fence system that keeps your puppy or dog safely at home. This wireless pet fence is certainly a much cheaper and far quicker and easier alternative to building a physical fence for dog containment.
You can also get underground fencing for dogs. What it does is to create a boundary that you designate right around your home, which your puppy learns not to cross.
One of the best things about the Petsafe Wireless Dog Fence is that it is almost instant, and totally portable. If you need to move home – simply take it with you.
It is also easily transported for quick trips such as to a friends place, for when you go on picnics, to the beach and vacation time is made so easy knowing you can keep your dog safe – anywhere that you may be.
How does The Petsafe Instant Fence work?
Well, it is an incredibly simple system. This wireless dog fence gives out a constant radio signal which communicates with the petsafe wireless collar on your dog, and creates a stay zone.
You simply plug in the transmitter and set the safe zone boundary area instantly with the dial on the transmitter.
If your dog attempts to leave the designated stay zone, he will first receive a warning tone from his petsafe wireless collar. If he continues on, then 1 second after the warning tone he will get a correction, at a level that you have set his receiver collar for. If your puppy keeps attempting to leave the stay zone, then the correction he receives will get progressively stronger until he comes back.
With a little initial training, your puppy will soon learn exactly how far he can go in his safe zone.
As a safety feature the Petsafe Wireless Dog Fence automatic shuts off after twenty seven seconds. With the petsafe wireless instant fence pet containment system you have peace of mind knowing that your puppy is always safe at home.

5.0 out of 5 stars We LOVE this wireless fence!
By J. Brooks (Dexter, MI United States) : After much research, we are SO HAPPY we chose this product over the traditional in-ground fences! No worries about ruining any wires when we aerate the lawn or do our landscaping… It’s a very flexible, cost-effective solution and it works GREAT for our very feisty 2-year-old Schnauzer mix. We keep the collar on the lowest correctional setting and to tell you the truth, at this point he probably doesn’t even need the correction — just hearing the warning beep is enough for him. He immediately turns around and gets closer to the house when he hears the beep. It only took one or two days for him to figure out his boundaries. At first he was a little afraid to go outside at all, but within less than a week he was happily playing outside in the “pet area” of the yard. Only drawback to this product is that there’s no “safe gate area” where you can exit the circular pet area. (So we just take the receiver collar off our dog and put on his regular collar when we want to exit the yard to take him for leash walks.) Highly recommend this product.
By Perry: I am very satisfied with the PetSafe wireless fence. It is easy to install and my Labradoodle learned the ropes in two days. Now whenever Leo wants to go out, we just open the door. Best part easy to install and train the dog….if he/she is smart. The only downside is the range seems to be less than the 90 ft advertised. I do have rolling hills on my property and understand that can cause anomalies. Overall, after 2 weeks of use I am very satisfied and would recommend highly. Good luck!
